World’s First Kombucha Beer Company Sets Another Kombucha Trend Vegan Certification with BeVeg International

The only vegan symbol backed by a global law firm

Michigan (Sept. 9th, 2019) – Unity Vibration Kombucha joins the ranks of many other socially conscious alcoholic beverage companies seeking to market to the vegan consumer around the world by certifying vegan their kombucha beer, tea, and hard kombucha products.

Why all this buzz around booze?

Alcoholic beverages are often fined, filtered and clarified with the use of animal parts (like isinglass, which is fish bladder, or gelatin, which is cow’s elbows and knees, horse hooves, pigs feet, egg whites, or crustacean shells, which is the skeletons of fish, to name a few) or have ingredients that use animal byproducts, like sugar made with bone char. Since alcohol has no required ingredient and process disclosures, the consumer rarely knows what they are consuming, and most are surprised to learn that there are 66 plus ingredients that can be added to alcoholic beverages, with zero disclosure labeling requirements.

Consumers want transparency in what they put into their bodies. “This is not a vegan issue, this is about consumers in general, wanting truthful information about what they are eating, drinking, or using. Full disclosure,” states Carissa Kranz, esq., founder and CEO of BeVeg International.

BeVeg is the only law firm in the world for vegan certification. Attorneys bring credibility to vegan claims, that are not currently defined. The problem is, right now, anyone can claim vegan, but the question is, by what standard? The word “vegan” is not regulated by any government entity or law, and so, BeVeg as a law firm exists to raise the standard for consumer transparency by requiring companies who apply to disclose all ingredients and processes to packaging. Attorneys then license use of the BeVeg vegan symbol to conscious companies in alignment with the BeVeg vegan standard, as outlined on www.beveg.com

“BeVeg is here to pioneer a path forward by making vegan certification literally a practice area since lawyers by nature are regulators,” says Kranz.

Unity Vibration Kombucha founders, Rachel and Tarek Kanaan, husband and wife, have also pioneered their own path forward. Initially, they got their start selling Kombucha out of a van to school parents. Then, this dynamic duo cashed out their life savings to convert a bedroom into a manufacturing facility. The rest is history, as they made history, and continue to make history. Unity Vibration Kombucha founded the world’s first 100% Kombucha beer, founded the USA’s first hard kombucha, was named a Top 25 Best Beer by Draft Magazine, was featured in the Wall Street, Washington Post, and Wine Enthusiast, and now has another newsworthy claim — globally vegan certified by BeVeg.

Vegan certified Unity Vibration Kombucha products with the BeVeg vegan symbol will be found in grocery chains, liquor stores, farmers markets, and restaurants around the United States. You can also taste the BeVeg vegan certified flavors and products in their tasting room

Unity Vibration Kombucha products are now listed in the BeVeg vegan database; a FREE consumer app, with more than 1 million listed beverages, called the “Ultimate Alcohol Guide”.

The BeVeg vegan symbol continues to create buzz as noted in Forbes, CBS, NBC, PETA, Social Life Hamptons Magazine, Veg World Magazine, VegNews, Vegetarisimo Magazine, VRG, LiveKindly Magazine, Metropolitan Magazine, California Wine Advisor, Yahoo Finance, among others, and used and endorsed by celebrity supermodel, Christie Brinkley.
